Dare to Speak was
designed to fulfill students need, especially those who learn to speak in
English as a Foreign language. This book is not only meant to facilitate
English Basic Speaking Class at English Department IKIP Budi Utomo, but also to
help anyone who wants to learn how to speak English from basic. This is so
because this book offers common expression used in daily life. In Addition to
daily life languages, this book is also equipped with Communication Strategies which allow the students to minimize the
hindrance during speaking. By presenting
Communication Strategies in this book, the writers hope that English
language learners will be more motivated and confident to speak in English as
they know how to deal with common obstacles like feeling nervous, having less
vocabulary, etc.
